A group of voluntary ambassadors of Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice based in Sully are organising an exciting charity ball to help two charities which have suffered hugely from the impact of COVID-19. It’s going to be a night to remember with a fantastic audience, awesome entertainment and mouth-watering food, what more could we ask for right now than to dress to impress and dance the night away?

The proceeds will be shared equally between Tŷ Hafan and Age Connects Morgannwg.

Sponsorship opportunities are available, please get in touch to find out more.

About Ty Hafan

Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales.

If you think this means they simply provide a place where children can go to die, you couldn’t be further from the truth.

Tŷ Hafan offers comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.

They allow parents and carers to relax and recharge their batteries. And they always make sure the needs of brothers and sisters are never forgotten.

Tŷ Hafan is an incredible charity that has to raise £4.5 million each year in order to provide its free services to families in Wales and with the effect of COVID-19 preventing this charity from running fundraising events, we thought there was no time like the present to help.

Age Connects Wales

Age Connects Morgannwg is a member of Age Connects Wales, a charity that exists to change attitudes to ageing and thereby improve people’s lives.Age Connects Wales is striving to challenge the cultural and organisational attitudes to older people in Wales. We will achieve this by listening to the views of older people, and using these to help shift society’s view of age to one where older age is regarded as a stage in the life course as valuable as any other. Age Connects Wales will be robust in arguing positively about the place in our society for older people.Through Age Connects Wales, we are maintaining the tradition of our organisations to work together, and we now intend to take a progressive step to work collaboratively with other organisations that share our priorities. This will help us to use all of the resources at our disposal to promote the wellbeing of older people in Wales.
